What if holidays were also an opportunity to take care of our health in a different way? All year round, our schedules are packed. We run between work, obligations, and responsibilities.
Then come the holidays! We slow down . We sleep more. We move differently . We take the time to cook, to walk, to see our loved ones… and sometimes, simply, to do nothing.
Perhaps this is the real challenge: understanding that healthy lifestyle habits shouldn't be an additional burden in our daily lives . They must adapt to our reality. A walk after meals. A little more sleep. Screen-free moments. Better hydration. Time for the people who make us feel good.
Simple actions, but which, repeated over time, can make a real difference to our physical and psychological health.
Holidays are not a break from our health. They can be a wonderful opportunity to find balance … and perhaps even maintain some new habits upon our return . And you, what healthy habit is easiest to maintain when you're on vacation?
